Would you like to join a Peer Educator Organization? Consider Mental Health Ambassadors! As a Mental Health Ambassador, you will help develop and facilitate Counseling Center presentations and events, including Depression/Anxiety Screening, Eating Disorder Awareness Weeks, and other campus-wide programs. You will also help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues on the App State campus.

Eligibility
The MHA program is open to both undergraduate and graduate students. To be eligible to become a Mental Health Ambassador, you must:
- Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Be responsible, motivated, and energetic.
- Be interested in mental health topics and promoting positive mental health
- Be able to commit to Fall and Spring semester involvement
- Be able to attend weekly meetings on Friday afternoons at 3pm and initial training/orientation before Fall semester classes begin (typically the Friday before Fall semester classes begin).

Are you interested in becoming a Mental Health Ambassador? Submit an application online below! Applications are due the Friday before spring break each year. If selected for an interview, you will need to attend a brief in-person interview during the month of April. New members who are invited to join the group will begin in the Fall semester.
